Published concurrently with the studio release of the Ridley Scott epic of the same name, this softcover book from Newmarket Press tells the story of the making of the film. My contribution was a 5,000-word chapter on the history of the Crusades. I researched and wrote the chapter, including sidebars, in less than two weeks to meet the publisher’s deadline.
