Founded in 1869 as a pioneering supplier of North American mint oil, A.M. Todd has evolved into a global, diversified, technologically sophisticated company with capabilities in plant science, chemistry, flavor chemistry, and product development. But the companys brochure was dated and failed to reflect the companys new vision, We grow values globally by pioneering products from nature. To create the new voice of A.M. Todd, I visited corporate headquarters in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and interviewed many members of the Todd family and management team. The brochures title, RESOURCEFUL, communicates the companys historic roots and its enterprising present; the content takes the reader from the rich soil of southern Michigan to the flavor laboratories of Pennsylvania to the virtual world of global collaboration.
