The client planned to introduce the first new condom design in 150 years:
a polyurethane, bi-directional condom that had no right or
wrong side. The product name had to imply innovation, ease
of use, and a youthful attitude; it also had to pass muster in five non-English
languages. Wordworking directed an extensive name development process
involving three additional team members; we produced more than 2,000 names
for client review. Wordworking also collaborated with a translation service
(Direct Language Communications) for the linguistic check, and participated
in thedesign of the logo and package. The name chosen, EZON, is distictive
and easy to pronounce, and clearly communicates the product benefit: this
condom is easy to useeven in the dark! Package design by Napoles Design Group, Larkspur |
